Viva wins Best Baby Puppy in Group at her first show

Introduction

 

Viva is the first litter from our imported male, Aust Ch Rhodonite Roman Emberez (Imp UK).  Our lovely girl Ripley is her mother.

 

She is such a delight to have around and she has bonded with us very quickly.  At 12 weeks she is already house trained, she loves to toddle around the house trying to satisfy all her curiosity.  She is not afraid of anything and will check out any noises and movements.  She has already walked through the spray of the garden hose, paddled in the dog pool and met all the adult dogues.

 

Attributes

 

We chose Viva because of her shortness of leg, depth of chest, overall width and bone.  In my opinion she had the second nicest head to her sister Solona, but Viva had more mass.  She has a lovely front, moves well and is nicely muscled in the rear with no evidence of cow hocks.

 

Viva is a light red/fawn in colour, more like her father Roman.  In fact, Viva is almost identical to Roman as a puppy at the same age.  So I have hopes that she will be very similar to a female version of Roman.

 

We have exciting plans for her in the future when she is old enough to be hip scored and bred from.  Viva and her sister Solona will certainly be one foundation for the next steps in my breeding program.
