In the 2005 NSW State PointScore, Chewie finishes as First Place Dogue !!

In the 2005 National Pointscore, he places 3rd Overall and 2nd Male in Australia !

 

Chewie wins Runner-up Best in Group again, and at one of Sydneys main metropolitan show grounds, Castle Hill.

 

Introduction

 

Chewie matured into a magnificent male. He has many beautiful characteristics which make him a stunning boy, and with a loving personality to match.

 

His face is masculine without being too bull-doggy, his head is true trapezoid shape with good proportions, nice setback of nose leather, visible chin and correct lip line, and an abundance of wrinkles. He has a very muscular body, and a strong muscular rear-end, with adequate angulation and straight hocks.  He is straight in the front and has a good broad chest. His muscle tone and wrinkles are highlighted by a very healthy coat which is shiney, short and soft. 

 

Chewie is at a ripe old age of 8 yrs, 26.5 inches tall and weighs around 60kg now. He has been tested with a fantastic hip score of 6 and elbows 0:0   Chewie is NOT available at stud.

We are very proud of Chewie for achieving three Runner-Up Best Exhibits in Group at three NSW shows in a row, including at a major Sydney metropolitan show ground, Castle Hill.  And to then go on and win Best Australian Bred in Show at one of the shows.

Dalwood International Show - Intermediate in Group

Nor-West Canine Assoc - Intermediate in Group

Chewie was awarded at Dalwood under a European judge.   Chewie is one of only a few of dogues awarded at this level by an International Judge.

Star of Television

Chewie was chosen by Saatchi & Saatchi to be the Face of Olympus. He is the star of their $2mil advertising campaign for the new Waterproof/Shockproof Digital Camera.

Keep an eye out for repeats of the three TV commercials and point-of-sale advertising in camera shops. 

He was chosen for his good looks and beautiful personality, it was important that the dog be well adjusted, good with crowds and strangers.  Saatchi's said that Chewie was a dream to work with, at the product launch he was a well behaved gentleman, loving the attention and photos shoots.  And NO, they don't slobber that much. Like in Turner & Hooch, the slobber is fake.
